The Service Design Studio is the nation’s first municipal team dedicated to improving services for low-income residents. We partner with city agencies and work to shift power to communities with lived experience.

As the Assistant Director of Visual Design, I do the following:

• Offer graphic design guidance and branding supervision to any applicable projects for the Service Design Studio, other teams within the Mayor’s Office for Economic Opportunity, and partner Mayoral Offices (as needed)

• Develop and maintain the Studio’s design system, including style guides for new and existing services

• Supervise all graphic deliverables from the Studio, including all Visual Design Projects, to ensure they meet the Studio's accessibility and design standards

• Execute and delegate graphic design requests; supervise and upskill design fellows on visual skills

• Closely strategize the design team’s operations with the Studio Director
