At NYC DOT, I was an Urban Fellow, equipping both my project management & graphic design skills.

Managed the first iteration of NYCDOT’s Greener Roadways Training. See below.
Researched COVID-19’s impacts on employment to inform the program’s outreach strategy
Personally canvassed and handed out flyers to community hubs like local libraries.
Successfully ran a social media campaign, receiving 3,000+ interactions and 150 applications for a 15-person program.

Acted as an in-house graphic designer, providing support to multiple teams and projects at NYC DOT.
Redesigned the NYC DOT Jamaica NOW Report to meet increased accessibility and design standards
The Greener Roadways Training is a workforce development program, built to give folks with limited experience and education a pathway into the horticulture industry.

This program was designed with an equity lens, as a pathway into the Landscaping industry. There were no educational or experiential requirements. Our goal was to engage communities with previous criminal justice experience.

The program gained 3,000+ authentic interactions and 1,600+ direct shares on Instagram. All-in-all we received over 150+ applications for a 15 person program!
